Love-Themed Naughty Drawing, Learning, and LOLs

Hey Fun People! This week's Naughty Drawing workshops will be Love-Themed, and in addition to extra silliness, we have extras: goody bags that include chocolate and romantic poetry, and a clothed LIVE MODEL who will pose for us around the museum. AND, this will be a slightly expanded class, so we can really enjoy and take our time exploring, drawing, and romping around the museum. Get ready for some fun with art!
Meeting Spot: Inside Modern Wing entrance near Coat Check!
Always wanted to learn how to draw fun human bits, but felt too silly to ask? As a kid, did you ever point to a nude art piece in a museum and go "look, Mom, she's naked!" only to be shushed? Have you taken a figure drawing class, and learned to draw all the anatomy except the naughty bits? Are you a professional artist who just can't draw a breast to save your life? Well, this class is for you. Learn the basics of observational drawing and sketch classical sculptures at the Art Institute of Chicago: the naughty bits, in particular :-) Just for LOLs! (Actually, my instruction will help you learn to sketch whatever you want, not just nude human forms!)
We will explore figurative art at the Art Institute of Chicago, sketchbooks and pencils in hand, while capturing the play of light and shadow on the curves, bulges, arabesques, and blobs of light falling on forms- including those forms we are normally encouraged to overlook- Naughty bits! Also, while this may seem irreverent, I promise you will gain a new appreciation (and affectionate respect) for the Art Institute, art, sculpture, drawing, and ...naughty bits! Yay.
As you may imagine, this is totally tongue-in-cheek, and slightly risqué- though also a truly informative and fun adventure. Mature (-ish) people are encouraged to join the fun. Bring your all-season Valentine, your chubby hubby, your sweet sassy mo-lassie, your saucy posse, your best betch, or just your awesome self. Make a [naughty] picture you'll be happy to show off, and get inspired to draw more!
1 8"x10" mat and glycine sleeve will be provided per student, so your art will be ready to hang! (additional mats/sleeves available for purchase)
MEETING SPOT: INSIDE MODERN WING ENTRANCE OF ART INSTITUTE NEAR THE COAT CHECK.
**PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY, & WITH ENOUGH TIME TO CHECK COATS, ETC, BEFORE MEETING. WE WILL START ON TIME, AND THEN THE CLASS WILL GO IN TO THE MUSEUM. IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER THE START TIME, WE CAN'T GUARANTEE YOU'LL BE ABLE TO FIND US, BUT WE WILL TRY! (REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS CAN TEXT THE CONTACT NUMBER FOUND IN THE GREETING EMAIL YOU'LL RECEIVE THE DAY OF THE EVENT). STUDENTS ARRIVING MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATE WILL NEED TO RESCHEDULE FOR ANOTHER DATE. THANKS!
Sketching materials such as pencil (mechanical, if you don't want to bring sharpener), eraser, ballpoint pen, and portable sketchbook or clipboard with at least 8-10 sheets of basic white copy paper. Colored pencils are a plus, but not required.
All ages welcome
I will have extra colored pencils & backup drawing supplies, just in case.

I had so much fun, definitely want to come back for part two. I've been drawing nothing but butts since our class!
