Event Overview
We are combining our two favorite things: donuts and illustration! Enjoy coffee and fancy donuts while Anna teaches you the basic proportions of the illustrated figure often used for fashion illustration or storyboards. No drawing experience needed. We will explore geometric proportions and poses of the exaggerated female figure used for illustration.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
With 10 years experience in corporate and small business apparel, fashion designer Anna Hovet is one of most recognized names in Chicago fashion. Anna earned her BFA from SAIC (where she now teaches). After graduating, she worked for a large corporate company, Kids Headquarters, where she designed layette for Ecko, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, and Target. In 2009 she founded Anna Hovet Designs, an athleisure fashion line manufactured in Chicago and sold around the world. Anna also teaches fashion illustration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
