Event Overview

Come join us for a special winter workshop featuring a much-loved houseplant, the succulent! You will learn how to create a one of a kind terrarium, using a provided selection of glass terrariums, a wide variety of succulents, as well as all the care tips you can imagine! We will be bringing lots of pretty stones and sand/organic potting soil so your new succulent can live in style and comfort, and provide your home with life throughout the winter.

Hovet Fashion Studio

With 10 years experience in corporate and small business apparel, fashion designer Anna Hovet is one of most recognized names in Chicago fashion. Anna earned her BFA from SAIC (where she now teaches). After graduating, she worked for a large corporate company, Kids Headquarters, where she designed layette for Ecko, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, and Target. In 2009 she founded Anna Hovet Designs, an athleisure fashion line manufactured in Chicago and sold around the world. Anna also teaches fashion illustration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
