Superfoods are being thrown at us from every direction, but are they really all they're cracked up to be? Should you be eating them and how?
This class looks at the top superfoods, what they mean to our bodies, where to get them and how to incorporate them into recipes... then sample superfood dishes (think acai bowl, quinoa salad, chia energy bar). We'll explore the likes of chia seeds, goji and acai berry, seaweed, maca powder and more. Recipes go home with you!

Monique Costello is an Integrative Holistic Health Coach and a Gourmet Cook. After years of chronic pain and unexplained symptoms, she found relief in the very same element that fueled her passion, food.
A champion recipe developer once featured on The Food Network, Monique now works as a health counselor, teaches cooking classes and hosts workshops on Pain Management and Women's Self Esteem, to help people recognize that food is medicine and it can heal you from the inside.
The class was amazing!! It was my first time taking a dabble class and I was a little hesitante about it, but it was worth every penny. Monique had the table prepared for each of us with a notebook of recepies and pens so we could write any extra info if needed. it was a very relax and fun class that taught me how to use super foods in a different and more interesting way. I used to think super foods were only for smoothies. Totally recommended!!

Monique's kitchen is the perfect place for casual conversations, learning, cooking, and eating! A really nice evening was spent learning about so many foods that I've heard about but didn't really know about, or felt intimidated about introducing into my life.
I highly recommend this class and can't wait to attend another one with Monique!
