Everyone loves paper flowers! They’re fun for grown-ups and kids alike, and they make excellent decorations for any special occasion. Consider the elegant statement made by paper flowers at your next dinner party….

Here’s a summer vacation activity everyone will enjoy: 6 Origami in 60 Minutes!

Give us one hour, and we'll teach you how to make six beautiful flower origami. Each design will be unique, creating a veritable bouquet of beauty. You will receive printed instructions for all six designs to bring home.

No experience is necessary, and you needn't bring anything. All materials are provided, and all ages are welcome. Come alone, or bring your friends for a one-of-a-kind group activity. It will be an hour of fun and beauty!

Dean Johnson has been making origami since he was nine years old. To this day, you will find him passing the time at restaurants by folding the placemat, the straw wrapper and loose bills. Dean studied Fine Art at Columbia College Chicago, where he earned his Bachelor Degree. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Chicago Publishers Resource Center (ChiPRC) and is its Arts Coordinator. He is a co-founder of Northside Independent Artists (NIA), which produces and curates art shows. He is also a proud member of Catholic Etsy Artists Guild. Dean’s commissions include numerous portrait paintings, as well as postcard designs for theater companies TUTA and Darknight Theatrical Productions; flyer designs for rock band Arch Visceral Parlor and DJ Elle Madelyn; and illustrations for author John Wawrzaszek.
