My son loved it! He's been watching all these YouTube videos and this was his great chance to see it all live. Chad was super patient and great teacher.

Took this class for my husbands birthday and it was a hoot! The instructor was knowledgeable on the subject of blacksmithing and allowed us to be creative. It's a fun and relaxed environment which was great after a long day of work.

The class was relaxed and a lot of fun. Chad first demonstrated what we would be doing. Then when it was your turn at the anvil, he was good about jumping in to help if you needed it or hanging back and letting you have at it if that was more your style. Each person individually makes their own item so you do spend a lot of time watching and chatting with others in the class. We had a great group so the time went by quickly and Chad did a great job of encouraging conversation and making everyone feel welcome. I also never felt rushed to finish up, even though we went over the designated end time, nobody was pressured to speed up. The last person got as much time as the first. Blacksmithing is probably not a hobby I would pursue but twisting and pounding steel was a great experience and something I'm definitely glad I tried.

Chad is an engaging and knowledgeable instructor. He encourages students to try everything themselves, but is also close by with help should it be required. I have enjoyed all the classes I have taken from Chad and would recommend him to anyone!

Chad is awesome. Super knowledgable, easy to understand, and helpful without being overbearing or making you feel stupid. =) The item everyone made was a letter opener, but since my husband was also in the class, Chad let me make a planter hanger. I highly recommend the blacksmithing class or anything else he teaches.

Great teacher. Truly knows how to teach. Engages the student from the very start with both knowledge and talent regarding the subject. Students walk away with a completed project and an "I can do this" experience.

He was very knowledgeable and we were able to leave with proof of our experience. Really enjoyed learning about blacksmithing.

This class was perfect. I do have experience in blacksmithing, so I took this a a refresher course. Chad was amazing. Knowledgeable about the history, and techniques. If you are interested, but, apprehensive this is the class for you. Chad is patient, and adjusts to your level of comfort. No one is left out, and encouragement abundant. Rare to see a teacher adapt to so many people, and every question was answered. I cannot say enough about this class. Chad and his crew are the most approachable and easy to talk to as well. Great class, will learn more, from Chad.

At first you may be excited about blacksmithing, and then you might feel intimidated. Don't worry. Chad has your back. Not only does he go over safety, but he gives a brief history of the craft and explains some of the geeky details. The project will give you a few techniques to practice and send you home with a useful item. (We made bottle openers in the class I took). This class is a good ol' hammer swingin' time.

I enjoyed this class. It is a good intro to blacksmithing. The instructor is a good guy, very peasant and helpful. I would definitely like to take another class.

I had a great time at the class I was a little nervous because I was the only girl but the instructor made me feel comfortable and was very helpful when I had questions

This is the second class I have taken with Chad and was another great afternoon. Chad does a great job of creating a relaxed atmosphere where people are comfortable asking questions and interacting with the other people in the class. I look forward to taking more classes here in the future!

The class was fun, pretty to the point. A quick review on the equipment and then straight to blacksmithing. Great time with my dad on his B-day.
