Event Overview

Laughter Yoga isn't a pose-based practice like traditional yoga. Rather, it's a way of using conscious laughter to simply accept with positivity all the ways that life is difficult. Participants sit in a circle and share all the ways their life is trying, difficult, or just plain aggravating and then release that tension and concern using the power of laughter. By laughing at what is most difficult in our experience, it can help us move from denial and anger into acceptance.

Participants specifically work with:

1. The HaHa Mantra
2. Radical Acceptance
3. The Circle of Commonality
4. Ending the Need to Fix

The class is designed for people who can't often share what is wrong or difficult in their lives without the people around them leaping in or wanting to fix them. This class isn't about problem solving or coming up with solutions. In fact, problem solving and trying to fix what is wrong with someone else is specifically banned in this class.
