Event Overview

Come join us at the Elysian Taproom for the release of Saved by the Gill, a beer that benefits Washington Wild! $1 of each pint sold goes to protecting healthy forests and clean water. We will be hosting a free* terrarium building class from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. To register for the class, you must arrive at the Taproom early and fill out the registration form! The first 20 people to sign up will be able to participate.

*Free to participate - there is a suggested donation of $5 or more dollars that will go to Washington Wild.

Beer description: Saved by the Gill (7.1%) - Oyster Stout brewed with Oyster Mushrooms

Living at the serendipitous confluence where the Puget Sound coalesces into a lush forest, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by two of our favorite things: oysters and mushrooms. Both live and thrive through the efforts of their respective gills… they also both taste great in beer. Saved by the Gill is a dark, roasted stout as complex, yet deceptively smooth as A.C. Slater in a pair of acid-wash jeans. However, the chocolate malt character finishes with a briny Pacific lash that might trigger night terrors of that one time Screech’s career got lost at sea.
