Event Overview

In this fun, casual evening class, Makers will learn how to make simple soy wax candles from scratch. We will use environmentally friendly soy wax of different colors. There will be a selection of fun glass containers to choose from, and a variety of fall themed scented oils to give your candles some fragrance.

Experiment with different colors to create layers and shapes. Add found objects to create a miniature scene or sculpture. Hide a surprise in the bottom of your candle as a gift! Explore, play, and create! Each student may make up to five small candles, or 2-3 medium to large candles. These make great, personalized gifts for friends and family, or the host / hostess of your next holiday party!
