Make a Wooden Bowl: Wood Turning
TOP RATED
Arts & DIY
In this class, Makers will be introduced to the correct tools and techniques to create a simple wooden bowl. We will cover the anatomy of the wood lathe, lathe chisels, bowl turning tools, and more. Each student will have the opportunity to select a block of wood for their bowl "blank", and personalize their design.
NOTE: It would be helpful for students to have taken one of our spindle turning classes (Candle Holders, French Rolling Pin, etc.), but it is not a requirement / prerequisite to sign up.
Students may choose to bring a bowl blank of their own, but it is not required. A bottle of water and a snack is also a good idea.
All ages welcome
All class materials will be provided.
