Cabin fever kicks in early in the Midwest. Depending on the year, we could be knee-deep in snow, frozen by flying ice, or shivering every time we open the door.
Our bodies urge us to move slower, rest more, and do less. But society says we should keep pushing, keep achieving and move those snow-covered mountains out of our way. This conflict between natural instinct and real-world pressure can create feelings of irritation, aggravation and dissatisfaction.
Join us for a workshop specifically concepted to bridge the space between those two worlds. We will connect ourselves to the unique rhythm of the season while also acknowledging the demands of modern, urban life.

Katy Flatau

Katy Flatau, a Certified Professional Coach, practices individual and group life coaching in Chicago as well as phone-based coaching internationally. Katy has an innate ability to actively listen and creatively vision, as well a genuine desire to see each client move positively forward. These traits, combined with her 12+ years of corporate experience, make her an engaged and empathetic partner in the coaching process. Katy is also certified in Energy Leadership through IPEC. The Energy Leadership Index is a powerful assessment tool that provides a detailed framework for the coaching process.
Andrea Klunder
E-RYT, Certified Thai Bodywork Practitioner, Co-director of Mindful-U
Andrea Klunder is a healer, teacher and singer who works with the body, mind and spirit with an integrated approach custom designed for each client. She has many years of experience practicing the healing arts of hatha yoga, meditation, Thai Bodywork and Reiki and views teaching as a spiritual practice. A true entrepreneurial yogi, Andrea was the director of a yoga for women’s health program at a major medical facility for 2 years, boutique yoga studio and spa owner in Lincoln Park for 5 years, and has led yoga teacher trainings and retreats in Chicago and abroad. She is the founder and organizer of the Kirtan Chicago Meetup, connecting like-minded souls in the practice of Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of devotion, music, and dance), and the Chicago Women's Creative Collective Meetup, bringing women from all forms of expression together to share and celebrate their work and support the creative process.
