Event Overview

Join me for a creative virtual watercolor painting class! Watercolors are so relaxing, approachable, and easy to use. Learn beginner watercolor techniques through various painting projects. See below for which project is on which date. We will paint a different subject matter in each class so invest in materials once and you will be set for months. View my Amazon art supply guide for recommendations. I have a Master's degree in Art Education with 10 years of teaching experience. You are in artistic hands!

What to Bring

Amy Zwikel is a Chicago based artist who's mission is to cultivate her creative skills through material exploration and experimentation in order to provide unique, macrame focused artwork and experiences for the modern free spirit.

Amy was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, but loves to travel and experience the globes's vast cultural landscape. She currently lives in Chicago's charming Roscoe Village neighborhood.

Amy earned her BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2007 and went on to become an Art Director at a midsize Chicago marketing agency. Continuing to broaden her artistic reach, Amy earned an MAT in Art Education from Columbia College Chicago in 2011. Amy is in her 6th year teaching drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, digital photography and graphic design at a nearby high school.
