Was it the scones or the oat milk that caught your attention? You've hopefully had a warmed, buttery scone with fresh jam...but have you ever tried an oat milk flat white? Wow...it's heavenly, not to mention dairy-free, nut-free and a vegan milk substitute. You know what else? You can learn how to make homemade oat milk with just two ingredients and a blender. Will it replace the $5 per quart fancy box the neighborhood barista pulls out? Not likely without some practice but it's super environmentally-friendly and light on the wallet to make at home.


For the scone-loving Dabbler...sorry to leave you hanging! In this 2-hour experience, we'll kick things off with learning how to make flaky, delicious scones along with the art and science behind a successful vegan scone working coconut oil and coconut milk into our flour mixture to create the perfect dairy-free treat.


While our scones are cooking and cooling off, we'll fill the time making super on-trend and delicious oat milk. With the smell of baking scones filling the kitchen, you'll join me and your fellow vegan-curious co-conspirators learning how to make something that you can definitely make at home after our experience. There will be a bit of "As Seen on TV" magic with oats that have soaked overnight but otherwise this experience will be very hands-on and we'll be experimenting with various water-to-oat ratios and flavors as small groups. 


I can't wait to learn and try something new with you while stuffing our faces with homemade scones and super creamy, tasty oat milk!


Phillipe has been a finalist on Masterchef Season 5, a contestant on Food Network's Cooks vs. Cons Season 2, appeared in USA Today, WGN, a finalist for World Food Championships 2017, HMS Host 2017 finalist and has worked with Fabio Viviani and Graham Elliot. Has also cooked for Scott Conant, Geoffrey Zakarian and Lorena Garcia. As a bonus, Phillipe will be offering 50% off his private dinners and catering packages.
