Event Overview

Just in time for summer! A party just isn't a party without a piñata! Get ready to make your own festive piñata.

Learn some basic techniques to cut cardboard and tissue paper to create your own piñata! masterpiece. I will have a few samples available and lots of cardboard for you to practice with.

Bring your ideas and will be happy to help make your piñata! dreams come true. All supplies and materials will be provided.

This class will take place in my home studio in Logan Square and the class is BYOB if you'd like!

Growing up in a Mexican household, I was no stranger to piñatas and when my niece was born, I knew she had to have one every year. You can make just about anything into a piñata and I always have a blast creating whatever I can imagine and helping my students with their creations.

Brought my girl from Big Brothers Big Sisters to this class. She had a rather ambitious goal for her pinata, but Norma helped make it a reality. Very fun class and the pinata we made came out fantastic! We both loved it.

We had SO much fun at this BYOB pinata making class with Norma. She did a great job of explaining how to dive into making our custom pinata creations and offered tons of helpful advice as we were working on the projects. I can't wait to take another one of her classes soon.

This class was so wonderful! I was somewhat intimidated by trying to make a pinata but Norma walked us through the directions and then helped out throughout. She had tons of options for supplies which allowed you to get really creative. I would definitely suggest this class to anyone! So much fun!
