Event Overview

Ever wondered why French bread tastes so great (could have something to do with being in Paris… ) and wished that you could create those beautiful French loaves at home? It’s easier than you think.

At this fun, hands-on bread workshop, you will learn the age-old techniques that bakers use to make baguettes, boules, rolls, fougasse (flat bread) and brioche. Then you will put your new knowledge to the test and make your own handmade bread. You’ll also learn some specialty ways to fancify your loaves into braids, swirls, knots, and stars.

You’ll leave class with several beautiful loaves, and the confidence to recreate and customize your bread at home, anytime you like.

Plus, you'll have complimentary access to The Good Food Project's Community of like-minded bread lovers, where you'll find new ideas and baking inspiration, recipes, and free troubleshooting help via our Kitchen Hours.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

The Good Food Project is built to make cooking fast, fun and accessible for everyone. Everybody should know how to cook things they enjoy eating and the more things you can cook, the better.

When you come to our classes, come with an open mind. You’ll try some new things, have a fantastic experience and leave feeling like you have gained the knowledge and confidence that will make your next culinary creation extraordinary.

People tell us that the best takeaways from our classes are not the big lessons, they are the tips and ideas that will make your cooking life easier and improving on what you are already doing. Things like substituting ingredients, using spices and slicing an onion without crying.

Join us for a class. We’ll cook up some great flavors and taste some awesome things together, plus we’d love to talk food with you! Hope to see you soon!

Chelly is a wonderful teacher. She is patient, knowledgeable, very hands-on, and helpful. This three hour class flew by and I plan on taking her sourdough class when it is next provided.

Fun class. Great tips and tricks! Sticking your fingers in the dough and getting a real tactile teaching experience really helps get a better grasp of bread baking.
