Event Overview
Do you need a break from the city and concrete? We've got just what the doctor ordered. Spend a lazy afternoon exploring canyons, caves and sandstone bluffs a short drive away from Chicago.
This all day trip to the Fox River in Illinois provides a wide variety of canoeing delights. Dabblers will first receive instruction on how to paddle and safe canoeing techniques. Then it's time to experience nature blooms amidst rocky outcrops, a variety of wildlife, fresh air and majestic woodland. A perfect way for sharing paddling pleasures and get away from the city!
Trip leaves at 8:30 am from 2855 N Lincoln. Come early for coffee & donuts. We will return approximately 9pm. If weather prohibits canoeing, the trip will be rescheduled - no refunds will be issued.
