Chocolate bears, red roses, conversation hearts. We understand the dismay that that pesky little mid-February “holiday” brings to those of us single folk. But enough!, we say. We’re here to put an end to the pity party.

Dabble is partnering with Project Fixup - a digital matchmaker that fixes people up over a fun thing to do and an interesting person to meet - to feature the first-ever Dabble Singles Event. We’ve concocted the perfect antidote to Valentine’s Day: a cocktails class with a master mixologist in a fun, relaxed, mingling-endorsed environment.

In this class, we’re scratching our itch for dapper, romantic drinks from bygone eras. This speakeasy-themed craft cocktail class will celebrate Chicago’s notorious roots in Prohibition by delving into a myriad of once-forbidden cocktails and whiskeys.

First we'll learn about these flapper-esque drinks, and then... we'll taste! Every participant will learn to make four craft cocktails and receive sampling portions of each. Leave with a handful of great recipe ideas, should the mood strike you to throw your own "gangster" themed soiree, and with a greater appreciation for the alcoholic delicacies served in old-time forgotten havens.

Here’s the catch: we’ll be accepting 16 men and 16 women max*. Singles only!** Go ahead and register, come alone or grab a friend, and we’ll see you there!

A bit of housekeeping...
* We’ve set the maximum at 32 people, 16 men and 16 women. We will do our best to monitor sign-ups, but in an effort to get the right mix, after the first 16 men and 16 women, we’ll cut off (and may need to refund your ticket purchase if you’re #17!) registration.

** As part for this class, you’ll fill out a short Project Fixup questionnaire. We’ll send this to you as follow up after you register and it’ll help you meet people at the event - should be fun!
