Event Overview

There's many things we admire about the Spanish culture. Salsa, siestas and their perpetually beautiful weather, to name a few. But when it comes to customs we ultimately want to copy, if we had to choose just one it'd be the long, drawn out dinners with second and third and fourth helpings of delicious Spanish wine.

This novice wine tasting class, for people looking to start at the absolute beginning, is an introduction to wine that hails from Spain. We'll start with a mini-history lesson (don't worry, we'll keep it light and fun!) about how wines are produced, the differences between "old world" and "new world" wine and some of the top players in the Spanish wine game.

Then, class will commence with tastings a'plenty! We'll swirl and sniff our way across a variety of flavor profiles, moving through the Spanish countryside and identifying flavor profiles, geographic differences and even giving suggestions about which wines pair best with which meals.

Leave empowered to tackle the wine menu at any new restaurant, and with an appreciation for vino made in España.
