The last time you had tequila was on spring break of '02 in 'Poco ... and the next morning you looked up from the porcelain basin amidst your hangover and solemnly vowed "to never drink it again."
Just because you were in Mexico, doesn't mean that your 5 peso tequila was the authentic, quality stuff. So if you've been giving tequila the cold shoulder, perhaps it's time to get reacquainted with the weird cousin of the spirit family in a more adult, palate-friendly way.
Dabble and Eat, Drink, Educate are teaming up to bring you this 101 class, that lays the groundwork for a new found appreciation for tequila. We'll learn a little about the history of the drink, and explore the tasty tequilas available on the market, all the while learning about the properties and taste variations of the drink beyond the realm of margaritas.
And to get you reacquainted with North America's first indigenous distilled spirit, generous helpings of tequila will be served for your enjoyment ... as long as you promise not to relive that night you took body shots off of strangers at Senor Frogs ;).

Dennis Mclennand has been in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over 20 years. He started this journey at some of the most prestigious restaurants on the island of Palm Beach, Forida.
