Event Overview

Singles, Couples and anyone with TWO LEFT FEET are welcome at this Beginner Waltz Dance Class! This class is perfect for those of you who are getting ready for a wedding or any other special occasions. You don't need a partner as we will rotate partners in class.

In a fun and casual setting, you will learn:

- Basic Waltz Steps
- A Simple Elegant Turn
- Basic Leading and Following Skills

What's more?

You are welcome to bring your favorite wine/beer to help you loosen up. And it's a great way to meet new people or spend time with your loved ones!

This class is 50 minutes long.

*Alcohol consumption is permitted only for adults over 21. Please have an ID available.

Duet Dance Studio is a boutique studio located in Chicago West Bucktown. We offer ballroom dance lessons, wedding dance instruction and kids dance classes. Dances we teach include Salsa, Swing, Tango, Bachata, Merengue, Waltz and Foxtrot.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new and so I booked this class for beginner waltz... SO fun. We've never taken a dance class before but the instructors were awesome and the studio is so warm and inviting, we got really into it. Really glad we took this class. They do beginner BYOB classes just like this every Friday... we will be back!

This was so much fun. I came solo, but they made me feel very welcomed and provided me with a dance partner, ha! I will definitely be coming back for another class. I highly recommend if you need to get away and do something to get your mind off the stress of the week. You get so into it, ie figuring out where your feet should go, that I guarantee you won’t be thinking about work.

My wife and I had a great time. The instructor, Murial, was very sweet and nice. She explained each step very thoroughly and helped us get back on track if we lost our steps.

My boyfriend and I attended a class and it was great! There were about 8 other couples in attendance, which was great for individualized instruction. Both instructors were extremely friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this class for couples!

C-Y leads a terrific, warm class in her welcoming studio. We had such a good time and left feeling much more confident than when we entered. We'll be back!
