Get old school with teaching artist Jessica Egan in one of our newest jewelry classes! Participants will begin by creating small collages of images and color. Use found images, paint, and mixed media to create a unique mini work of art! Then, those collages with be transferred to rings and pendants and covered with a clear resin alternative. These little artworks can become pendants and more!
Simple jewelry beading techniques will be covered along with how to use your design in earrings or a necklace. Leave with the skill to continue this approachable and wearable craft at home!You are welcome to bring in your own images, but all materials are provided.

Jess Egan
Jess is a Chicago based artist originally from Wisconsin. She is currently working on her last semester BFA at Columbia College Chicago. She works in clay, collage, and environmental art. Her interests lie in environmental activism and biological processes. She has been teaching for four years with a focus in both art and science. She currently teaches at One Strange Bird, as well as an After School Matters alternative energy program through Columbia College.
