Event Overview
Come make an adorable plush Pop-Tart! With better shelf life than the usual pop tarts we love to gobble up, these little guys are squishy and a great gift for others, yourself or just a cool way to learn about embroidery and make something really adorable!
In this class, you’ll be furnished with materials to make a 8”x6” pop-tart, complete with your choice of frosting color, sprinkle color and adorable eyes to give your new buddy a real personality! All supplies are included in the cost of the class – all you need to do is bring your imagination and a willingness to have fun creating a hand-made bit of joy. The goal of this class is to not only to have fun but learn how to do some simple hand sewing and embroidery in a way that is low pressure and very easy to replicate. Should you want to make more, we’ll have make-and-take kits for you to purchase if you want to keep making additional plush pop-tart buddies after class ends!
Kate Dignan has taught craft classes for the better part of 15 years, to adults and children alike, both here in Denver and back in her former hometown in Ohio. Formerly Denver Public Library “Maker in Residence” in the Montbello Idea Lab, she never lost her crafting wanderlust and still loves to find new ways to create when she’s not working her regular 9-5.
