In this class, you will learn how to cook with lentils to make dishes that are rich in fiber and protein:
Dal Fry: popular Indian lentils dish
Utta Pam: lentil and rice pancake with fresh vegetables and chutney
Arya Bhavan’s Urad (black) lentils dish
All the recipes are vegan and gluten-free but are also favorites of non-vegans; they are prepared with the healthiest ingredients available, no GMOs, no MSG, and no artificial flavors.
No prior knowledge of Indian cooking is needed. The class includes an instructions handout and tastings of the recipes. Come ready to ask any questions about Indian and healthy cooking. Chef Kirti of Arya Bhavan has been doing it for 40 years and knows it all!
