Waffles. There's much more than the toaster variety and you'll be surprised how deliciously complex waffles are. For one, did you know that Belgium waffles don't exist in Belgium?! In this class, Dabblers will learn about the delicious world of waffles and how they are enjoyed in various ways. But the best part is making them and having fun with the assorted toppings. This is one waffle-fest that shouldn't be missed!

Batter - Buttermilk? Yeasted? Egg whites? Gluten free? There are quite a few batters to choose from that bring different results so we'll take a look and taste of them.

Waffle Irons - Single? Double? Thin? Thick? Round? Square? With so many options available for waffle irons, we'll discuss the differences, what to look for and which works best for you based on your waffle preferences.

Styles - Liège waffles? American waffles? Belgian waffles? Not all waffles are the same so we'll delve into how waffles are enjoyed around the world and learn how to make some in class.

Sweet or Savory - Many are familiar with sweet waffles in the morning, but there are also savory waffles that make them perfect for any time of day. We'll think outside the box, make some savory waffles and you just might be hooked.
