Event Overview

This workshop is our final presentation on America’s founding documents. Though we covered these important documents during our wonder years in school, we might all benefit from a reminder of their power and the ways in which the have shaped our democracy. This presentation highlights the Bill of Rights with special attention to Amendments 1, 2 and 14. Taught by a master teacher in American History, Mark Hughes, this civics refresher will reawaken your curiosity for the words that make this land the United States of America. It’s a chance to be a better participant in this government that is by, of and for the people.
