Welcoming Week at Comal | Family Recipes

Our family recipes, written down and passed from generation to generation, keep us connected to our past, our families and the people we take as our family of choice. Celebrate National Welcoming Week, which brings together immigrants and those born within their country in a spirit of community. Bring a recipe to share with others and we’ll show you how to turn it into a clever, cute booklet that you can always have handy to pass on your favorite recipes to those you love.
Comal is a bright sunny lunch spot that also offers catering services and cultural activities. Their food represents the recipes and cultural background of the aspiring immigrants who are a part of the Comal family. Comal chefs will demo and serve a homemade salsa and share the recipe with you, too! Free and open to all.
