Event Overview

This workshop will approach graphic design as visual storytelling. Students will layout a short story that they create through combining found texts. This class introduces basic concepts and ideas of graphic design through a hands-on creative project.

Veronica Corzo-Duchardt’s work encompasses Art direction, Packaging Design, and Printmaking, with an eye for culturally relevant design. She will bring these experiences to the class, sharing tools and approaches for students to find successful design solutions by using paper, scissors, glue and everyday materials.

In this spin-off of a design class, students will walk away with a booklet containing their found text visual stories.
