Screenprint Your Own Cards
TOP RATED
Arts & DIY
Screenprinting is one of many processes that can be use to print your own collection of cards.
Designs can be digitally designed, or hand-drawn, and transferred photo mechanically to a mesh screen. This is a quick and fun introduction to screenprinting on paper, allowing students to dabble with a new process.
Dabblers will arrive with a 1-color design (digital or on paper). Throughout the afternoon, they will learn how to turn their design into a stencil, transfer it to a screen, mix ink, and finally, print. Students will walk away with 20 handmade greeting cards. Students may bring 20 blank cards (any color or size is fine), as well as a design on a USB drive, CD, or laser print. We also have clip art on hand! Basic white 5×7” flat cards are available for students who do not bring their own folded cards.
