Event Overview

Beautiful France in Wintertime is the theme of a wine and food pairing event hosted by Whole Foods Market Sommellier and Chef David Stowell. We will present top French wines paired with tasting plates of freshly prepared French cuisine. The focus will be on wintertime menus, including dishes from the Ardennes, Champagne, and Normandy. Spend a pleasant evening sampling and learning about some of the best wines and dishes enjoyed by French families when the weather is bright and cold.

Beautiful France is well known for the elegance and sophistication of her cuisine. Tonight we shall explore different wine and food pairings from the historic wine-growing regions of France. Our accent will be on fresh, natural, and biodynamically produced wines and plates. Selected and prepared by David Stowell, Whole Foods chef, and Somme. We shall discuss proper tasting, compare our impressions and delve into what it is that makes for a great wine and food pairing.
