Sarah was an excellent teacher in the Knife Skills Class. She was very informative and able to help all of the participants at any skill level refine their methods and leave more confident in their abilities. Thank you to Sarah for a wonderful class!

It was a very good class to learn the basics of chopping, cutting and slicing, and you get some nice recipes as well.

Super helpful in many ways: from how to hold a knife, care for it and use it. I learned slicing and dicing techniques that I never knew existed. Our class had people of all skill levels and the teacher was able to cater to each person. We had hummus to snack on plus took home all the vegetables and learned what a broth bag was so almost nothing went to waste. Definitely worth the $40 and would take every course offered if I could.

I didn't realize I was using a knife incorrectly until this class! I had lots of fun learning and perfecting my technique. Definitely excited about cooking at home more and using these skills. We went over the anatomy of a knife, knife care, then got to practice on several veggies - all of which we were able to take home for our own use.

Great class! My boyfriend and I attended and we both learned a lot. There was approx 10 people in the class. My boyfriend was hesitant to go at first because he "already knew how to cut things" but he ended up liking it. Definitely a great value too!

We learned fundamental knife skills as well as the parts of the knife and knife safety. We practiced slicing and dicing different vegetables and got to take the produce we cut home. I thought the class was really useful for a beginner like me. Sarah was a great teacher and I got plenty of good feedback. Snacks (hummus and pita) were also provided for us to snack on during class.

Knowledgeable and personable teacher. Just right class size. Bright, clean, inviting space. It was a little long for a weeknight outing - or maybe I'm just getting old! I left with enough sliced fresh produce to cover the amount of the class. A steal!

My first class at Whole Foods Lincoln Park and it did not disappoint! Sarah is an excellent instructor, teaching the class how to use a knife properly and safely. Do not hesitate to take this class and plan to be there the whole 2 1/2 hours chopping away.

I cook at home a lot and use a knife all the time so I wasn't sure what to expect out of this class but I loved it! The teacher was upbeat, thorough, and easy to follow. I learned how to hold a knife correctly which actually alleviated some of the pain from my carpal tunnel! Also, fun new ways to cut a pepper and get even onion pieces. I would definitely take another class here with this instructor!

I feel that if you leave the class learning one new thing, it was completely worth it. Turns out I wasn't holding the knife or slicing the correct way. Now I know. They fed you some snacks while working though the class so you were well taken care of. My only surprise was that I thought the class was 2 hours, as advertised on Dabble, but when I got there learned it was actually 2.5 hours.
