Event Overview

It is never too late to learn to cook and it is our mission to make sure you have the opportunity! Come join our Cooking At Home Specialist, Sarah, as she teaches you all the tricks needed to successfully cook grains and veggies at home. All participants will be making a green smoothie, strawberry-spinach quinoa, potato broccoli mash, roasted cauliflower, veggie burgers and a tomato and corn risotto. Come hungry because you will be eating your creations throughout the class. All skills welcomed. Class includes take home recipe cards. If you participate in 6 Basic Skills Classes, you will get a 7th class for FREE through Whole Foods. See a Cooking School Team Member for a punch card.

    This is my second class at Whole Foods and like the other one, this class did not disappoint. We learned how to make a lot of dishes. Some of the recipes were hands on, other recipes were demonstrations. Everything tasted so good and we had a lot of leftovers to take home.

    This was my first basic skills class and I had a great time. I learned quite a few helpful cooking tips, it was hands on, and all of the dishes we prepared were tasty. There was also plenty of food to take home at the end of the night. I’m definitely going to check out the other basic skills courses they offer here.
