Highly recommend any of the Whole Foods Lincoln Park classes. The instructors were friendly and knowledgeable, and answered specific questions students had. The class was a good mix of demonstration and hands on practice - and the food was tasty (with leftovers to spare!)

Loved this class!! The menu was amazing and I will be making everything again at home, especially the carrot gnocchi and pesto. Yum! Lorna is a wonderful instructor! She's funny and makes cooking very approachable. I can't wait to take more of her classes this summer.

After reading the description I was hoping that we would be learning to cook vegetables. On the contrary, the teacher was showing us how to make food that was pretty unhealthy - pastries & gnocchi. Butter and sugar everywhere, I think I ended up eating like 3000 calories that evening. Also, it was more about watching the teacher than doing it, so I don't think I will apply much from this class in my everyday life. Having said that, the teacher was very pleasant, nice and friendly, so I think if the initial dabble description of the class would have been more correct and she could have listed the menu of the dishes she was planning on focusing on, it would have weeded out people like me, who eat very healthy and wanted to learn how to cook vegetables rather than flour-based comfort foods.
