Event Overview
Join Taylor from Candle Ghoul to make your own candles in vintage and upcycled vessels. We'll start with a broad overview of things you need to know about candles -- like what "throw" is and the best way to burn your candles. (Yes, believe it or not, there is a wrong way to use candles!)
Using Taylor's mixture of soy and coconut waxes, you'll be able to experiment with scents and colors to customize your two candles in your thrifted vessels. The candles will be made separately, so they can have different colors and scents.
In this workshop, you will:
- learn basics about candles and candlemaking, including
- how to DIY candles at home,
- try various scents and combos, and customize your candles with your favorite(s),
- mix in optional colors,
- choose two vessels from Taylor's super rad collection,
- pour those two candles and several tealights from leftover wax,
- and leave with your collection of candles.
