Event Overview
The world's first chemist was a woman named Tapputi, who made perfumes in the Royal Palace of Babylonian Mesopotamia around 1200 BCE.
Over the centuries, the art and science of perfume has evolved, and in this class, Asmita, owner of Asmi, will introduce different techniques and scents from the around the world.
After a brief overview of perfume making, extraction processes, and an introduction to olfactory families, you will have the opportunity to create your own blend of perfume.
All supplies need to participate in this workshop will be delivered to you.
