Event Overview

Essential oils and aromatherapy can provide a natural complement to treating the symptoms of ailments such as sinus problems, mental clarity and focus, and bolstering the immune system. Aromatherapy is often used to enhance yoga practice, massage, and study sessions. Learn about the key oils to include in your wellness kit, safe methods of administering them, and appropriate dilution ratios for different stages of life.

In this workshop, led by Dawn Ambuehl-Sadek, a self-taught aromatherapist, participants will receive instruction to create an essential oil blend for use in a diffuser, mix a massage oil, and blend a room spray. All materials and resources will be provided. This workshop is best for those who are just starting out with essential oils and would like guidance in the above areas.

In this workshop, you will:
- make an essential oil blend for a diffuser (great for yourself or gifts!)
- craft your own massage oil
- make a room spray
- learn in a small class
- receive an overview of aromatherapy: how it can be used and safety
