Event Overview
Tapestry weaving is an ancient practice that has picked up in popularity and now is your chance to learn the foundations of weaving for yourself!
In this class you will create a small woven wall hanging from start to finish with local artist and business owner Sarah Anderson from Un.beweavable Fibers.
Sarah teaches using her own designed loom and provides a carefully curated selection of fiber beyond just yarn! You will not only end the workshop with a new item for your home but also with knowledge of the craft and the tools to move forward.
What this workshop includes:
- A 5.5x7.5 wooden frame loom
- Cotton yarn and fibers (all vegan)
- Needles, crochet hook, small clippers and dowel rod
- Instructional booklet
Sarah Anderson, has been weaving for four years and officially launched her business Unbeweavable Fibers in 2019. You can find her here for fun sneak peaks.
