Class topic: Chinese Dumplings
The most important part of Chinese Dumplings is in the gathering of family. Traditionally, Chinese Dumplings are made together as a family. Members across the family participate- young, old, male, female, near, far. The warmth of the dumplings travels through the body, bringing warmth to the heart in the winter. This tradition stems from the North of Mainland China, but nowadays it has spread to Chinese people from all parts of China.
In this hands-on class, we'll learn how to make the stuffing that will go inside your dumplings (vegan options included), and how to shape and cook the dumplings. Then we'll all sit down together as a community "family" to enjoy our hand-crafted meal!
This hands-on class is BYOB.
