Since Uma was a child, she has always been interested in cooking. Her dad taught her to cook when she was 15, and instilled in her a passion for combining flavors and the importance of using great ingredients. Uma loves to teach, and integrating that with her passion for cooking is just heaven. She and her business partner, Vineeta, just launched their business Chutney Devis, and you can check them out on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ChutneyDevis/
I'll admit, I was convinced I wouldn't like any of the food we made in this course. But I loved it. The teacher was fabulous and shared a lot of her heritage, history and culture with us as well as teaching us some new skills. It was a lot of fun, and a great way to get your feet wet in international cooking.

Great class! It was really informative without being boring at all. We worked in small groups so it really was hands on. We were all able to sit and eat dinner at the end of class. I would definitely recommend any of the classes with Peterson Garden Project. BYOB is a definite plus as well!

Fun class and delicious food! The PGP are very professional and keep the kitchen and your work space tidy as you get to enjoy cooking. Even as a home chef who cooks Indian food regularly, I learned some pro-tips in this class that I'm going to incorporate.

I loved the recipes we made and as always everything runs smoothly with PGP. I'll take more classes from them.

This was an amazing class! I had never heard of Peterson Garden Project, and when I accidentally only registered for one person and showed up with two, they completely accommodated us. Lindsey at Peterson Garden Project was so incredibly attentive and checked on every group throughout the process, and the volunteers that were there to help were also great. I just can't emphasize enough how many great people we've met by going to Dabble classes and this class was no exception. We met great new people and had an absolute blast (while also learning new things!).
