Create an upcycled pendant from scraps of ceramic and glass! Participants will learn to use recycled ceramic plates or glass, copper foil, flux and lead-free solder to sculpt their custom jewelry pendant or earrings. The class will demonstrate how to safely use a glass cutter and grinder to create custom shapes from found vintage plates, mirrors, and clear glass. Participants will also learn to make a custom sized jump ring and the right places to look for upcycled treasures for all their upcycled jewelry projects!
Note: This class requires hand strength and the use of a very hot tool. Patience, an eye for safety, and hand dexterity will help participants achieve their design goals.

This class was so much fun! Kitty took us through the whole process from start to finish. She was very patient explaining each step in great detail. If we happened to hit a snag in the process, she was right there to assist and guide us through. I highly recommend this class if you are wanting to learn the process of soldering and creating one of a kind pieces of artwork.

Lots of fun. Small class size allowed for personal attention.

I loved learning a brand new skill and walking away with something to show for it. Kitty was a fantastic teacher!
