Event Overview

Join Kristen Gula of Gulush Threads for this special embroidery workshop at Perennial! In this class, participants will use reclaimed fabric to create to a sampler of basic embroidery stitches, including a running stitch, back stitch, chain stitch, stem stitch, split stitch, blanket stitch, satin stitch and French knots. Leave with a sweet stitch sampler and skills to make your own embroidered creations on your own! All skill levels and experience are welcome.


This is an in-person class that will take place outside in Perennial’s education garden. For vaccinated folks, masks are optional for outdoor classes, but are required for those that are not vaccinated. Our full policies can be found here.

    I had a wonderful time at the class and learned a lot. I have not done much Embroidery since I was a kid and it was lovely to renew my interest and see that there are so many possibilities nowadays that make use of the basic skills. I appreciated the teachers time and patience.
