pillows, fabric
Skills you’ll learn:
construction, piecing
A modern throw pillow is a great way to add interesting patterns and colors to your living room or bedroom. In this workshop, participants will use the sewing machine to create a new pillow cover from reclaimed fabrics. Folks will also get the chance to practice improvisational piecing to create custom patterns and designs. Piecing is a great way to use up fabric scraps from previous projects. Without following traditional patterns or quilting rules, the end results will be a unique surprise!
Before participating in this workshop, students will need to take Perennial's Sewing Machine Basics workshop or have basic knowledge of how to use the sewing machine.
