Event Overview

Add a personal touch to a photograph, print, or piece of art with a custom picture frame. In this two-day workshop, participants will be introduced to basic frame-making skills. You’ll learn how to join your salvaged wood frame with wooden corner splines. You’ll learn the proper use of hand and power tools to create frame stock material and practice making cuts using a jig. Participants will also learn how to cut glass to fit the exact size of your frame for a finished look. This course can help improve your spatial planning, so come with an open mind and a willingness to learn a new skill!

With any woodworking project, it takes time to become proficient, but this is a great project to help you dive into multiple planning and building skills!

Please note this two-day class meets on Tuesday, August 6 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm and on Tuesday, August 13 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
