Event Overview

Please note, this two-day workshop takes place on Thursdays, July 15 + July 22 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm each night.

Learn to transform an old piece of furniture into your very own Little Free Library! In this class, participants will take old cabinets and drawers, add shelves and a door, and weather-proof it in order to create the perfect miniature library. Use the table saw and other power tools to complete this project and give your yard an upgrade with this great community resource!

Some work may need to be done outside of class to add custom finishes to your work, like paint and sealant. Perennial staff will demonstrate these techniques, as well as how to install in your yard.

This is an in-person class that will take place at Perennial. You will be assigned your own socially distanced work station, and will be required to wear a mask while you are here. Our full policies can be found here.
