Event Overview

Plant stands let you reclaim your terrain by creating more dynamic living arrangements and bringing foliage to different levels. In this class, you will create a one-of-a-kind plant stand inspired by midcentury design. You will learn power tool safety and basic building techniques that can apply to a variety of helpful structures. We will cover material selection and how to use the bandsaw and chisels to make quick and strong joints for your stand’s legs and platform, held together with wood glue. Finally, we’ll discuss and sample different finishes to protect and beautify your creation.

This is an in-person class that will take place at Perennial. You will be assigned your own socially distanced work station, and will be required to wear a mask while you are here. Our full policies can be found here.
