Event Overview

Build a bird house from upcycled materials! Perennial staff will guide the class in building a wren bird house using reclaimed wood. Participants will learn to use a hammer and nails, a chop saw, as well as both a power drill and drill press. Your upcycled bird house will add a protective shelter for backyard birds and also beautify your yard!

Skills you’ll learn: sawing, construction design, assembly

    Such a fun class not only to learn a bit about birds, but also to learn about tools and woodworking. Bonus: the birdhouses are super cute and act as a long-term reminder of a fun Sunday afternoon with friends, new and old.
