Arts & DIY
Starting with an interesting found object of your choice, learn how to create a unique pendant using entirely recycled materials. In class, we will highlight the beauty of found objects such as sea glass, river stones, salvaged wood or other artifacts by setting it using copper wire. The wire used is old electrical wiring that would otherwise be sent to the refinery. Students will learn wire wrapping techniques to seat their object using recycled copper wire, ending with a beautiful pendant! Some wire wrapping experience is helpful but not required.
