Event Overview

State your own message with a custom poster + wood frame. Marie Oberkirsch, Director of Central Print, will lead the class in a discussion and demonstration on letterpress printmaking, and class participants will use movable type to create their own custom text poster with oil-based inks.

Cclass participants will then learn to use hand tools to create a contemporary wooden frame that attaches to the top and bottom of their poster, making it ready-to-hang in your home!

Materials Saved from the Landfill: Wooden Lath, Paper
