Event Overview

Join Marcis of Citizen Carpentry in this demonstration class to learn how to repair the plumbing in your home. Participants will learn how to repair a leaky faucet, sink trap, and other common plumbing problems. Proper safety precautions will be taught for working with a variety of materials common to plumbing, as well as how to shut off and drain a house’s water lines in order to work on the issue without water pressure. Students will learn how to cut and join PVC pipe as well as copper sweating and soldering work to repair copper pipes. There will also be a Q&A session for folks to ask the instructor about issues or concerns they have in their own homes.

This is a live virtual class that will be conducted via Zoom. Participants will be emailed information about how to participate prior to the class.
