This was a wonderful class! I really didn't think I could learn to weave anything that would actually look good but by the end of the class I had a piece of weaving that looks quite nice and that I'm going to hang up in our home. And I learned enough that I plan to try some more weaving projects just for fun. The instructor was excellent and very patient with explanations and assistance.

I grew up in the days when yarn potholders were all the rage. I wanted to re-capture part of my youth and decided this class would be a fun way to do that. I learned new skills and left with a mostly-finished project. Now, I have a loom and a nifty tapestry needle and am free to try even more intricate projects. Hillary Bird, the teacher, did a great job of giving us a few stitches to try and giving us several ways to do them. She's a big believer in finding the method that works best for the student. I really enjoyed this class and will be looking for other weaving classes to attend.

I really enjoyed this class. I had prior experience with weaving, but still learned some new techniques! The instructor is very creative!
