Alterations: Tailoring

Do you have clothing that is too loose, or a little too snug? This DIY Alterations class will cover the basics of taking in and letting out garments for a more tailored fit. Please bring a couple of garments that you would like to alter, for practicing in class. We will analyze which seams need to be adjusted, and you will learn techniques for making darts, tucks, and pleats.
Participants should have basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine or have taken Perennial’s Sewing Machine Basics workshop.
